So I am now officially employed with an actual, (paying) company, some of you may know it... Topshop. Finished all my internships within the industry and ready to re-in burse my savings account for all the fast-paced living I have done in the last 9 months. I kind of felt it was fitting to blog about the Unique SS 12 collection that the Topshop teams showcased last Sunday at the old Eurostar terminal. Unique always being a personal high-light of fashion week for me and this season the team have really out done their self. Designs were inspired by the iconic 1963 Cleopatra movie and the sensational silver-screen goddess, Elizabeth Taylor. The idea went onto develop into what a modern Egyptian Queen would wear in an urban environment such as London adding detailing and features influenced by the 90's with a sporty edge.
Unique bring something completely new and unexpected every season, the team tend to work trend influences a different way to the rest of the fashion industry and still remain to keep the designs fresh and chic, spring can not come soon enough.
