NYFW SS 12: Designer Watch, Cushnie et Ochs

We don't all have the luxury of being able to jet half way round the world to attend fashion Week first hand but what we do have the luxury of is, feeding us daily info of who, what and where and as of yesterday, all eyes are now on New York for its NYFW events held at various venues across the city. So far SS 12 has began with an almighty boom, showing stunning collections by the likes of Kimberly Ovitz, BCBG Max Azria and one of my personal favorites Cushnie et Ochs for their dramatic theme change that features beautiful feminine colours against real body emphasizing silhouettes’. This season the designers were inspired by modern housewife’s using geometric cutouts to completely transform the LWD and classic shirt, and neon colours of pink and yellow contrasting with the classic dark monochrome and neutrals that the Ochs girls are famous for.

  1. Hi Danielle,

Thanks for commenting on IFB. I'm following you!

  2. I really love these designs especially the black dress. Definitely something I would design myself.

  3. This collection was so modern, but not too much so. Subtle modernity at its best.
