SS13 TRENDS: WHITE. The clean colour of simplicity and purity. White is the colour of choice for SS13 used widely across the runway shows last year showing at Victoria Beckham in the form of sporty boxed shirts and A-line 60's mini's (60's being another hit trend) to a preppy style at Tommy Hilfiger and a clean minimal monochrome aesthetic at Balenciaga. Topshop Unique showed up with a more urban, edge mixing in crossed knits and modern silhouettes whilst street stylers mixed it up with statement vertically striped trousers, tailored jackets and funky accessories.
STRIPES. First seen at Marc Jacobs with statement monochrome stripes storming down the runway, shortly after the fashion crowd followed suit bringing stripes out mixing them with prints, polka dots in brighter hues and contrasting fabrics. Look out for a flash of orange.
