Layering is one of my favourite parts of Winter. It makes getting dressed in a morning so much more fun and the entire high-street are producing some top notch trends when it comes to separates this season so it is a great excuse to try some new styles out.

EVEN FURTHER NORTH

So Autumn is all about layering and we all love layers! I teamed this chunky Dolce & Gabbana Mohair knit with a lightweight cotton trench from H&M for a trip to Edinburgh. Whoever said blue and green should never be seen.. well they were just wrong.

NORTH TO SOUTH

Finally Regent's St. is introduced to Swedish/Parisian Chic with the opening of '& Other Stories' brought into the UK by the HM Group which consist's of H&M, Cos, Cheap Monday, Monki, Weekday. & Other Stories is welcomed as the cooler, edgier older sister onto the British high-street with styling similar to urban designers Alexander Wang, Helmut Lang and Swedish dream team, Acne. 

Store layout, pasty white washed walls with polished concrete flooring and industrial style fittings set the scene for the modern clothes, accessories, make-up, skincare and shoes. & Other Stories is a must visit for anybody travelling to the city!!

EDINBURGH

28th February.... I turned 22, got a coffee maker as a present, fine dined for lunch and dinner and spent the day immersed in Scottish culture and architecture in the beautiful city of Edinburgh. Winner!

last night saw the end of an era as the Paralympics drew London 2012 to a close and what a celebration it was. Coldplay really set the house on fire with their set and the whole presentation really was one to remember! I got this sweater from Primark at Westfield Stratford and it had an eco-friendly twist to the design which took me by surprise... it's made from recycled plastic bottles and I'm guessing they will be Coca Cola, how cool is that?

Watching the sunset with my girls on the rocks by Cafe Mambo, Ibiza was such a great spot not only for the beautiful over sea sun set but for the glamorous outfit spotting, lots of prints, colour and sparkle around. I got to wear my favourite new purchase from Zara and mix it up with a classic Ibizan brightly coloured bandeau and high waisted white shorts.
